Caught being intimate with Andy Byron, CEO of Astronomer and her boss, Kristin Cabot is becoming the center of search on social networks.
Astronomer CEO caught on camera having ‘cheat’ with staff at concert Videos that have gone viral on social media appear to show Astronomer CEO Andy Byron holding hands with the company’s human resources director, Kristin Cabot.
During Coldplay’s recent concert at Gillette Stadium (Boston, USA), the “kiss cam” (filming random couples kissing) in the show accidentally became the moment that exposed an affair, attracting millions of views.
In front of 60,000 people, the camera panned to Astronomer CEO Andy Byron and the company’s director of human resources, Kristin Cabot, embracing. Byron immediately collapsed, and Cabot turned away, covering her face with her hands.
Kristin Cabot is the chief people officer at Astronomer, a tech company valued at $1.3 billion. Cabot joined the company nine months ago and is in charge of the HR team, according to Mint . On LinkedIn, she claims to “build trust with employees at every level” — a phrase that has become a meme online.
Before Astronomer, Cabot worked at companies like Neo4j and Proofpoint. Although she wears a wedding ring in her LinkedIn photo, her marital status is unclear.
As HR director, Cabot’s role includes enforcing workplace ethics, which makes the “cheating” clip all the more shocking.

On Astronomer’s website, the HR director is introduced: “Cabot has a proven track record of preserving and enriching company culture at rapidly growing organizations. She recently left Neo4j, where she served as HR director for nearly four years and saw the company grow from 225 to 900 employees.
Prior to Neo4j, Cabot led ObserveIT to 50% year-over-year growth, quadrupling global headcount, earning the company a ‘Best Place to Work’ award and managing an acquisition by Proofpoint.”
Meanwhile, Andy Byron has been the head of Astronomer since July 2023. His wife is Megan Kerrigan Byron, the couple has 2 children together.
The newly uncovered affair puts Astronomer in a difficult position. As CEO and HR director, Byron and Cabot have shaped the company culture, but their behavior has fueled rumors of infidelity in the workplace.
Astronomer has not yet said whether it is taking any action or investigating. The company, known for its data software tools, is facing troubling questions about its leadership ethics.
After the video went viral, Cabot has not appeared, and Byron’s social media accounts have also gone silent.
Fans erupted after the CEO of a billion-dollar company was caught cozying up to a female colleague on a Coldplay concert kiss cam.
Andrew Byron, the head of the AI startup Astronomer, was broadcast onscreen at Boston’s Gillette Stadium with his arm around the company’s HR chief Kristin Cabot during the band’s gig there Tuesday night.
They rapidly turned their backs to the camera, but their apparent awkwardness only captured the attention of Coldplay frontman Chris Martin.
‘Oh look at these two!’ the 48-year-old singer said mischievously. ‘Oh what? Either they’re having an affair, or they’re just very shy.’
The clip went instantly viral as fans flew into a frenzy over at the uncomfortable moment, thanking Coldplay for ‘bringing the whole internet together for one day.’
Memes abounded, as one X user posted a picture of Martin at the piano with the quip: ‘a CEO hates to see this man coming.’
‘I would like to thank Coldplay for bringing the nation together. For a day, you fixed us,’ wrote another, while a third posted an image of Fred and Wilma Flinstone in a similar pose to the one Byron and Cabot were caught in on the kiss cam.
‘Coldplay’s Cameraman is a gem!’ giggled an X user over a photo of a cameraman with Leonardo DiCaprio’s cackling face in Django Unchained.
‘Next Board Meeting at Astronomer,’ wrote another, over a still of Jonah Hill presenting a professional chart to Brad Pitt in Moneyball – only with the chart covered up by a grab of Byron with his arm around Cabot.
‘Its the most rock n roll thing Coldplays ever done,’ marveled one observer as another chortled: ‘I bet Coldplay will create a new song in honor of the couple in question.’
‘Who did it better?’ vamped an Instagram user, comparing Byron holding Cabot to Jack (Leonardo DiCaprio) holding Rose (Kate Winslet) from behind in the ‘I’m flying!’ scene from Titanic.
Public records suggest both Byron and Cabot are married – but that they live at different addresses to those listed for their spouses.
Daily Mail has contacted Byron, Cabot and Astronomer for comment.

Byron heaped praise on Cabot in a November 2024 post about her appointment to the firm.
‘Kristin’s exceptional leadership and deep expertise in talent management, employee engagement, and scaling people strategies will be critical as we continue our rapid trajectory,’ he said.
‘She is a proven leader at multiple growth-stage companies and her passion for fostering diverse, collaborative workplaces makes her a perfect fit for Astronomer.’
Byron became CEO in 2023, and the startup rapidly grew under his tenure including a reported 292% growth in revenue for its ‘Astro’ platform that year.
The startup has been valued at over $1 billion, and last week Byron appeared on New York Stock Exchange (NYSE) TV to celebrate the company.
Astronomer raised $93 million in its Series D round of financing, which Byron described as ‘a huge opportunity’ and ‘very exciting’ for the firm.
The concert where the pair were apparently caught out was part of Coldplay’s ongoing Music Of The Spheres World Tour.
They will next play Maddison, Nashville and Miami before heading back to the UK for a string of dates in August.

Under a gray Los Angeles sky, mourners gathered at St. Paul’s Chapel to honor Malcolm-Jamal Warner. But when Adele and Adam Lambert stepped forward, grief turned to something transcendent. With trembling hands and tear-filled eyes, they began a haunting duet of “Bridge Over Troubled Water.” Behind them, black-and-white images of Malcolm’s life flickered. Midway, Adam’s voice broke—Adele reached for his hand and whispered, “We’ve got you.” No applause followed, only silence and sobs. As they laid a rose and folded music sheet on his casket, sunlight broke through the stained glass. Later, Adam said, “We sang him home.” It wasn’t a performance—it was a farewell carried on voices that shook the soul.
