Fox News personality Kat Timpf recently addressed health speculation on social media following her double mastectomy, performed just weeks after giving birth to her first child.
The 36-year-old Gutfeld! co-host announced the surgery last week, confirming she had both breasts removed and is now recovering.
Her revelation triggered a flood of unsolicited opinions online, including an X user’s comment: “Women, please be aware of your options. You do not have to amputate your breasts, especially at stage 0!!”
Known for her sharp wit, Timpf fired back sarcastically, “I did it just for fun.”

During her recovery, close friend and Fox News colleague Guy Benson visited her and met her newborn son. Benson shared on social media, “Hung out with @KatTimpf yesterday & met her beautiful baby boy,” noting her humorous request for no more baked goods.
Instead, he brought two melons, two mangos, and two tangerines as nod to her dark humor. Timpf’s Fox News peers, including Benson and Jessica Tarlov, have voiced unwavering support as she balances maternity leave and post-surgery healing.

On Monday, Timpf posted a candid update, resharing a throwback Instagram photo with a caption that read, “As I sit at home recovering & looking a level of ugly that is only possible when showering is medium traumatizing, I am posting this to remind u… what I’m capable of.”
She had previously discussed her decision, blending humor with honesty. “Honestly not much smaller than they were before I got pregnant,” she quipped about her breasts, while admitting the choice was tough.
“Trust me, there’s no one for whom that seems more extreme than me,” she said, expressing gratitude for expert medical advice on breast cancer.
The diagnosis hit just hours before she welcomed her son with husband Cameron Friscia, making it an emotionally charged time.

Under a gray Los Angeles sky, mourners gathered at St. Paul’s Chapel to honor Malcolm-Jamal Warner. But when Adele and Adam Lambert stepped forward, grief turned to something transcendent.
