Jimmy Kimmel Roasts Elon Musk, Sending Him into a Frenzy!
Elon Musk recently made waves when he appeared at the CPAC conservative conference wielding a chainsaw on stage, declaring his mission to “cut down bureaucracy.” Not stopping there, Musk also sent an email to all federal employees, demanding they list five tasks they had completed in the past week.
Musk and the “Bureaucracy Chainsaw”
According to CNN, Musk used his time at CPAC to promote his so-called “bureaucracy chainsaw” and vowed to eliminate government red tape. He even introduced a new government efficiency unit called DOPE (Department of Operational Productivity & Efficiency). However, the most controversial move was his mass email to federal employees, requiring them to provide a list of five tasks they had completed that week.
Forbes reported that the email caused confusion within the government. Departments such as the Department of Defense and the State Department issued internal memos advising employees to ignore Musk’s request. However, the White House decided to leave the response up to individual agencies.
Kimmel Mocks Musk and Trump
On his show, Jimmy Kimmel referred to Musk and Trump as a “dictatorial duo” ruling over America. He pointed out the irony of Trump spending over $10.7 million in taxpayer money on golf while Musk demanded that federal employees prove their productivity.
“You have to list five tasks you completed this week, while Trump spent nine days in his first month back just playing golf,” Kimmel quipped. “Musk demands efficiency, yet he profits from billions in government contracts. And Trump? He’s funneling government money into his own golf resorts.”
Musk, Trump, and the Fort Knox Gold Audit
While “reforming” the government, Trump and Musk have also set their sights on something else: gold. According to NPR, Trump announced plans to take Musk to Fort Knox to “verify the gold reserves.” Jimmy Kimmel wasted no time poking fun at the idea: “This time, they’ll open the vault and… wait for it… start playing ABBA’s ‘Money, Money, Money.’”
With their latest controversial moves, Musk and Trump are shaking up American politics. Will their vision of “cutting bureaucracy” lead to real change, or is this just another power play? Time will tell.
