Known for his razor-sharp wit and unapologetic humor, Greg Gutfeld now finds himself in unfamiliar territory – fatherhood at 60. And by his own confession? He’s terrible at it.

Greg Gutfeld, Fox News’ late-night king of political comedy, is now playing the most unexpected role of his life: a father. After decades of living what he once called a “selfish” life, Gutfeld is adjusting to diapers, sleepless nights, and baby bottles — and he’s not sugarcoating it.

In a deeply personal essay, the host opened up about how becoming a parent for the first time has rocked his world.

“Becoming a dad at my age means learning lessons most people figured out in their 20s or 30s — like thinking about someone other than yourself. For me, that’s tough.”

👶 A Late Start, A Life Rewritten

Greg and his wife Elena Moussa welcomed their daughter, Mira, in December 2024. And according to Gutfeld, everything changed — not just emotionally, but physically too. The couple moved into a $10.5 million SoHo loft in New York City, ready to embrace a new chapter.

But inside those luxury walls, Gutfeld is still trying to figure it all out.

“I try to offer emotional support,” he said on The Five. “But Elena’s pretty hands-on — she kind of keeps me away from everything. She says I’m clumsy and useless.”

💔 Stepping Out of the Spotlight

Gutfeld, who rarely misses a taping of his nightly show, took a shocking 46-day paternity leave after his daughter was born — a move that stunned his audience. He revealed the news in true Gutfeld fashion on X (formerly Twitter):

“Now that’s how you keep a secret. Thanks for all the kind words — see you in a few!”

💑 20 Years of Love, Hidden in Plain Sight

Gutfeld met Moussa, a Russian-born fashion editor, during a work trip to Portugal back in 2004. Within days, he told himself: “That’s my wife.” And five months later — she was.

Despite Gutfeld’s loud public persona, the couple has kept their relationship mostly private. But in 2022, their story made headlines during the early days of the Russia-Ukraine war.

Moussa’s family had relocated to Ukraine, and when war broke out, Gutfeld worked with Fox News correspondents to help extract her mother. The emotional reunion, captured on video, showed Moussa tearfully whispering “Thank God” in Russian as she embraced her mom.

“Fox News reporters on the ground were incredible. Absolute heroes,” Gutfeld said.

🐶 Gus the Bulldog, Social Media Star

While Mira is still off-camera, one family member has already gone viral: Gus, their French bulldog. Adopted in 2022, Gus regularly pops up on Gutfeld’s Instagram and may be the only one in the family who isn’t afraid of the spotlight.

📺 From Political Provocateur to Proud (and Clumsy) Papa

Gutfeld’s journey to cable stardom began in magazines — first with Stuff, then as editor of Maxim UK. He joined Fox News in 2011 and quickly built a following with his signature blend of sarcasm and satire.

His late-night show Gutfeld! now airs weeknights at 10pm and regularly outperforms traditional network talk shows. He’s also authored eight books, four of which became New York Times bestsellers.

📝 For a man who built his brand on independence, irreverence, and always having the last word, Greg Gutfeld is now learning how to stay quiet, step back — and support someone smaller than himself. At 60, he’s not just hosting a talk show anymore. He’s hosting a baby.
