Whoopi Goldberg Abruptly Leaves ‘The View’ Stage to Confront Audience Member Over Filming

Whoopi Goldberg isn’t one to hold back, and Tuesday’s episode of The View was no exception.

The outspoken actress and talk show co-host, 68, shocked both her co-hosts and the audience when she abruptly left the stage to call out an audience member for breaking the show’s strict no-filming policy.

The moment unfolded while Sunny Hostin, 55, was discussing former President Donald Trump’s fraud case and his reduced bond.

Midway through the conversation, Whoopi interrupted, saying, “Hold on a second,” before standing up and walking directly to the edge of the stage.

Turning her attention to the audience member, she sternly addressed him:

“Sir, I have to stop you with the camera, because I can see you.

So do me a favor, don’t pull it out again.

I’d appreciate that, thank you.”

The audience fell silent for a brief moment before erupting in applause, showing their support for Whoopi’s no-nonsense approach.

ABC has a strict policy prohibiting audience members from taking photos or recording videos while the show is being taped.

Guests are only permitted to take pictures during designated breaks, making the fan’s actions a clear violation.

But that wasn’t the only moment Whoopi made headlines during the broadcast.

Later in the episode, tensions flared once again when producers tried to cut her off.

As Hostin prepared to read a legal notice about Trump denying all accusations against him, Whoopi grew visibly frustrated with the off-camera producers.

“I’m gonna get to her, my God! Guys, I am going to get to her,” she snapped.

“May I finish my point, or do you want me to just jump now?”

Her co-host Joy Behar, 81, quipped, “Whoopi is not in the mood today for your shenanigans!”

Whoopi, still irritated, shot back: “I’m not, I’m not.

I’m trying to do everything everybody wants, but you know what? Never mind. Go ahead, Sunny.”

Hostin then resumed reading the legal notice, while Whoopi muttered under her breath with a sarcastic, “No kidding.”

It’s far from the first time Whoopi has walked off The View stage mid-show, whether out of frustration with producers or disinterest in certain topics.
