I think he would tell me if he didn’t, I think he’d like to see peace,” Trump began from behind the Resolute Desk.

As Collins asked, “Do you trust President Putin?” without being called upon, Trump countered, “I know [Biden is] a friend of yours.”

Then came the knockout blow: “He’s a friend of CNN.

That’s why nobody watches CNN anymore.

Because they have no credibility,” Trump declared, in his signature style.

The room erupted in light laughter at Trump’s sharp insult, as Collins, who’s no stranger to Trump’s verbal barbs, remained composed.
