“I Feel Amazing!”—Sunny Defies the Odds

Speaking at the red carpet premiere of Othello on Broadway on March 23, Hostin, dressed in a stunning all-white suit, proudly flaunted her slimmed-down figure.

“I feel really great,” she declared.

“I don’t know what everyone else’s experience has been, but I never gained any weight back.”

This revelation flies in the face of medical studies, which indicate that many users of Mounjaro and similar GLP-1 medications like Ozempic struggle with weight regain after stopping the drug.

Research shows that some people regain up to two-thirds of the weight lost once they discontinue the medication.

Hostin, however, remains an outlier.

“That was kind of weird,” she admitted.

“Hopefully, nothing bad will happen to me.”

“I Never Stopped Working Out”

Unlike many who struggle post-medication, Hostin credits her success to her long-standing commitment to fitness.

“I was never a big eater, so I just eat to live.

I don’t live to eat,” she explained.

“And I never stopped working out.”

Her disciplined approach appears to have made a massive difference.

While some Mounjaro users report severe cravings after discontinuation, Hostin says she hasn’t felt any changes in her appetite.

Last year, Sunny made the admission to her co-hosts that she used Mounjaro to lose 40 pounds during an episode of The View

Would She Ever Go Back on Mounjaro? “Why Not?”

When asked if she’d ever consider taking Mounjaro again, Hostin didn’t hesitate.

“If I needed to, sure. Why not?” she responded.

While some celebrities, including Jessica Simpson, have denied using weight-loss medications despite dramatic transformations, Hostin believes people should feel free to be open about their choices.

Sunny, pictured at the 2024 White House Correspondents' Association Dinner, said that she had a 'different experience' after stopping Mounjaro - something she was on for four months

“I think some celebrities are scared to speak out,” she said.

“I don’t know why. It’s a free world. If that’s what you want to do, then just do it.”

Whoopi Goldberg Joins the Conversation—Reveals Nearly 300-Pound Struggle

Hostin isn’t the only View co-host to have used Mounjaro.

“Without the Mounjaro, this would not have happened.”

The Sister Act star passionately defended the use of GLP-1 drugs after Robert F. Kennedy Jr. criticized their increasing popularity, claiming that obesity should be addressed through diet and exercise alone.

Sunny told DailyMail.com that using the weight-loss drugs is 'about body positivity' and 'whatever makes you feel good, just do it' (pictured with Alyssa Farah Griffin in June 2024)

Goldberg didn’t hold back: “This isn’t just about food.

Sometimes people are genetically larger.”

She also argued that weight-loss drugs could help prevent serious health issues like diabetes and cardiovascular disease.
