Savage Takedown: Fox News’ Kennedy Torches Joy Behar as a “Pathetic Talking Hemorrhoid” After Disastrous ‘The View’ Audition Fallout!
In a blistering takedown that set conservative media abuzz, Fox News personality Lisa Kennedy Montgomery — known simply as Kennedy — did not hold back when recounting her audition for ABC’s The View, unloading a savage verbal assault on longtime co-host Joy Behar, whom she branded a “pathetic talking hemorrhoid in an auburn wig.”
Appearing Monday night on Gutfeld!, Kennedy described her experience auditioning for The View after the departure of co-host Lisa Ling in 2003.
Initially, her recollections were positive, praising iconic figures such as Barbara Walters and Meredith Vieira for fostering a professional and respectful environment.
“I actually auditioned for The View in 2003 and got pretty far.
I had a great connection with Star [Jones], and Barbara Walters — God rest her soul — was lovely.
Meredith Vieira was wonderful.
We engaged in genuine conversations about conservative politics,” Kennedy recalled, painting an early picture of hope and civility.
But that tone quickly shifted when Kennedy addressed Joy Behar’s conduct behind the scenes.
Without mincing words, Kennedy declared: “Joy was a talking hemorrhoid in an auburn wig.”
Doubling down, she reiterated, “She was,” leaving no room for ambiguity about her disdain.
Kennedy further accused Behar of being “ungracious and awful,” adding an especially damning revelation: despite being marketed as a comedian, Behar allegedly required a comedy writer to craft her punchlines during breaks.
“She had a comedy writer scribbling little lines for her during commercial breaks.
I thought to myself, ‘She’s not even funny.
She’s not thinking in real-time.
She’s just reading off a script,’” Kennedy recounted, highlighting what she saw as Behar’s lack of genuine wit.
The former MTV VJ then suggested that Behar’s animosity stemmed from jealousy.
According to Kennedy, her natural ability to deliver spontaneous quips without relying on scripted jokes threatened Behar’s dominance.
“I made some jokes during the conversation — because it’s supposed to be a conversational show before it devolved into an unwatchable abortion.
And during a break, Joy leaned over and said, ‘I’ll handle the comedy here.
’ I fired back, ‘Great.
Whenever you actually start, I’ll ease up on the jokes,’” Kennedy revealed with razor-sharp precision.
Joy Behar, a fervent Democratic activist and longtime staple of The View, has made headlines for her unabashedly partisan rants.
Following Donald Trump’s 2016 victory, she notoriously labeled the election result “profoundly disturbing” and recently claimed she could befriend a Trump supporter but “wouldn’t give them a kidney.”
She has also launched personal attacks on House Speaker Mike Johnson, branding him a “wolf in sheep’s clothing.”
Kennedy’s brutal recollection offers a rare glimpse into the cutthroat reality behind one of daytime television’s most infamous talk shows — a reality far removed from the sanitized image ABC often portrays.
It also underscores the deepening chasm between mainstream entertainment figures and conservative voices seeking to challenge the status quo.
In an industry increasingly dominated by ideological conformity, Kennedy’s experience serves as a stark reminder: behind the smiles and scripted jokes, the battle for influence — and authenticity — is vicious, personal, and utterly unforgiving.
