Rapper Yella Beezy Arrested for Murder: Allegedly Hi.re.d Hit.man to K!ll Fellow Artist Mo3—$2M Bond Set
The hip-hop world is reeling as Dallas rapper Yella Beezy faces capital murder charges in connection with the 2020 killing of fellow musician Mo3.
Shocking Indictment: Yella Beezy Accused of Orchestrating Mo3’s Murder
Authorities announced that the “That’s On Me” rapper, whose real name is Markies Conway, was indicted on March 18 by a Dallas County grand jury.
Just two days later, on March 20, he was arrested on a charge of capital murder for remuneration, meaning prosecutors believe he paid someone to carry out the crime.
Court documents suggest that Conway hired Kewon White to assassinate Mo3, whose real name was Melvin Noble, in exchange for payment.
A Targeted Execution on a Dallas Highway
On November 11, 2020, Mo3 was fatally gunned down at just 28 years old while driving on Interstate 35 in Dallas.
Authorities claim that White pulled up alongside Mo3, exited his vehicle, and brandished a firearm.
Mo3, realizing the danger, fled on foot—but White opened fire, shooting multiple rounds before the rapper collapsed. He was later pronounced dead at the hospital.
Multiple Suspects, Pending Cases
White, along with another suspect, Devin Brown (32), has also been indicted in connection with Mo3’s murder, and their cases remain ongoing.
Yella Beezy, now behind bars at Dallas County Jail, has had his bond set at $2 million as the legal process unfolds.
A History of Run-Ins with the Law
This isn’t Yella Beezy’s first brush with law enforcement:
🔹 2020 – White was arrested for an unrelated firearm charge and sentenced to 8+ years in federal prison.
🔹 2021 – Yella Beezy was arrested for sexual assault and child endangerment, though both charges were later dismissed.
🔹 Past Charges – He was previously arrested for unlawful weapon possession and marijuana charges, which were also dropped.
Rapper’s Past Violence & Music Career
Yella Beezy himself has been a victim of gun violence—in 2018, he survived a drive-by shooting in Lewisville, Texas, after being shot multiple times.
Despite his legal troubles, Beezy made a name for himself with hit singles like:
🎵 “That’s On Me” (2017) – A viral track that later spawned a star-studded remix featuring T.I., 2 Chainz, and others.
🎵 “Bacc At It Again” (2019) – A collab with Quavo and Gucci Mane.
🎵 “Hit” (2024) – A recent single featuring Lil Wayne.
Meanwhile, Mo3’s legacy lives on through posthumous releases, including his breakout song “Errybody” (Remix) with Boosie Badazz and the emotional hit “Outside”.
What’s Next?
With a $2 million bond, serious allegations, and a pending trial, Yella Beezy’s future hangs in the balance.
As investigations continue, the hip-hop world watches closely to see whether justice will be served.
