Miley Cyrus Calls the Shots at Family Game Nights—Sister Brandi Says, ‘She’s the Boss!’

Turns out, Miley Cyrus isn’t just a rule breaker—she’s a rule maker when it comes to Cyrus family game nights!

In an exclusive interview at the 2025 iHeartRadio Music Awards in Los Angeles on March 17, Brandi Cyrus revealed that her Grammy-winning sister, Miley, 32, is the ultimate decision-maker when the family gathers for some friendly competition.

“Something that we love to do that’s probably so unexpected is we love to play cards,” said Brandi, 37, keeping tight-lipped on which Cyrus family members—including dad Billy Ray, mom Tish, and their other siblings—typically join in.

Miley’s Ever-Changing Game Night Rules

The Cyrus family’s favorite card game? UNO.

“It’s so silly. We love Uno. It’s a classic,” Brandi shared.

But when it comes to Uno’s most controversial rule—whether or not you can stack a Draw 2 card on another Draw 2—Brandi had a clear answer:

“You got to ask Miley Cyrus because she makes the rules.”

However, don’t expect those rules to stay the same every time.

“I can’t even keep up,” Brandi admitted. “One time the answer is yes, but the next time the answer might be no. Miley is definitely the one in charge.”

While Miley rules the game table, Brandi is taking over Las Vegas!

Just two days before her red carpet appearance, Brandi announced that she will DJ for country legend Kenny Chesney’s Las Vegas residency at The Sphere this May and June.

She shared her excitement on Instagram, writing:

Inside the Cyrus Family Dynamic

Aside from music and game nights, Brandi also co-hosts the “Sorry We’re Stoned” podcast with their mom Tish Cyrus, 57.

Brandi previously told TH that, despite the Cyrus family’s ups and downs, she and her mom have built a strong friendship over the years.

“With this podcast, we control it and don’t have to answer to anybody. We get to do what we want, and it’s so much fun to do together,” Brandi shared.

Meanwhile, Tish remains incredibly proud of her children.

“I couldn’t be more proud of my kids—every single one of them,” Tish gushed. “I look at Brandi and think, ‘I made that!’”

She also praised her bond with Miley, calling it both a working relationship and a mother-daughter connection that has stood the test of time.

“I don’t know how we survived everything and made that happen, but we did,” Tish said.
