The farewell to 7 Lincoln Square was deeply personal for Ripa and Consuelos, who spent years building both their careers and family within those walls.

“Our kids grew up here,” Consuelos shared, referring to their three children—Michael (27), Lola (23), and Joaquin (22).

“They would visit their mom all the time, even when they were just babies.

Ripa added, “Before they started school, they were with me every day.

 Whether it was here at ‘Live’ or on the set of ‘All My Children,’ this building was a second home for them.

A Studio Filled with Memories—Including Their Love Story

Beyond being a workplace, the Live studio holds a special place in Ripa and Consuelos’ hearts for another reason: it played a pivotal role in their relationship.

Back in 1996, during a brief breakup, the couple was scheduled for a joint appearance on ‘Live with Regis and Kathie Lee’—and that moment changed everything.

“We both tried to get out of it, but neither of us could,” Consuelos recalled.

“And the moment I saw her, I knew… breaking up was the worst decision of my life.

That very night, he proposed to Ripa, and the next day, they eloped in Las Vegas—a decision that led to nearly three decades of marriage and a life they built together, both on and off-screen.
