Late-night host Jimmy Kimmel didn’t hold back in torching the Democratic Party after a bizarre TikTok video featuring several House Democrats went viral for all the wrong reasons — leaving many wondering if this was really their best attempt at “fighting back” against Republicans.

In his Thursday night monologue on Jimmy Kimmel Live, Kimmel tore into the now-infamous “Choose Your Fighter” TikTok clip, which showed Democratic congresswomen awkwardly jumping into fighting stances like video game characters — complete with text boasting their political achievements.

The video, originally posted by social media influencer Jessica Woo, featured Reps.

Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, Jasmine Crockett, Lauren Underwood, Katherine Clark, Judy Chu, and Susie Lee — and quickly became a viral spectacle, mocked relentlessly across social media for its embarrassing tone-deafness.

“As the pile of crazy starts to build, people are wondering how the Democrats are going to fight back,” Kimmel joked.

“Well — look out! Because they’ve got a plan… and they’re launching it on TikTok!”

Kimmel didn’t hold back, sarcastically striking his own fighting pose to uproarious laughter from the audience.

“What exactly is this supposed to accomplish, besides humiliating everyone involved?” he asked bluntly.

“Whose Streets? Sesame Street!”

Kimmel then piled on, bringing up another cringe-inducing Democrat moment: a protest outside NPR where activists — some dressed as Sesame Street characters — were rallying against a bill threatening to cut funding for public broadcasting.

In the viral clip, a protest leader — voice cracking repeatedly — tried to rally the costumed crowd by chanting “Whose streets?” to which the protesters replied, “Sesame Street!”

Kimmel could barely hide his disbelief.

“Honestly… I might start looking into getting a medically induced coma for the next four years,” he quipped.

“Just sleep through it all.

If this is the best the Democrats have got, Ukraine might be in even more trouble than we thought.”

Social Media Brutalizes Democrats

Online reaction was predictably savage.

Critics called the TikTok video “painfully out of touch” and “peak cringe,” while others mocked the Sesame Street protest as “a bad SNL sketch come to life.”

Kimmel, a frequent critic of both political parties, seemed genuinely baffled at the Democrats’ strategy.

“This is how they plan to win votes? TikTok stunts and Sesame Street protests? Good luck with that.”

It seems the late-night host isn’t the only one who thinks the Democrats might need a new social media team — or at least someone willing to tell them when an idea should stay in the group chat.
