Inside Tyrus’ Wild and Wholesome Family Life: 6 Kids, 3 Baby Mamas, a Trans Child — and Why He Gave It All Up for Dad Duty

George “Tyrus” Murdoch has body-slammed his way out of the wrestling ring and straight into full-time fatherhood — and his chaotic, deeply blended family life is just as headline-worthy as his time in the WWE.

With six kids (yes, six!), three different mothers for his oldest children, and a farm full of animals, Tyrus is proving he’s not just a heavyweight in the ring, but at home too.

Tyrus and his wife Ingrid Rinck with their kids attends FOX Nation's 2024 Patriot Awards at Tilles Center for the Performing Arts on December 05, 2024 in Greenvale, New York.

The former pro wrestler turned Fox News personality and comedian has peeled back the curtain on his unconventional but fiercely devoted approach to parenting — including his emotional decision to quit wrestling in 2023, not because of injury, but because he couldn’t stand missing another game, recital, or horseback ride.

From the Ring to Raising 6 Kids — Meet Tyrus’ Blended Brood

Tyrus and his wife, fitness entrepreneur Ingrid Murdoch (née Rinck), share one child together — their daughter, Georgie Rose, born in 2014 and named in honor of her father.

“Who would’ve thought the one carrying on the father’s name would be a daughter?” Ingrid wrote proudly on Instagram.

But Georgie isn’t Tyrus’ only child.

The retired wrestler also has three children from previous relationships, all born in 2011 — a son and two daughters — each with different mothers.

That’s right: three kids, one year, three women.

Let that sink in.

Ingrid, for her part, brought two sons from a previous relationship — Rhett and Rock — into the marriage, making their household one of late-night dinners, shared chores, competitive sports, and farm animals galore.

One House, Three Baby Mamas, and a Whole Lot of Honesty

Tyrus has never shied away from the messy truth.

On The Sage Steele Show, he admitted that having three kids in one year with three different women forced him to grow up fast.

“You need to figure it out real quick,” he said.

“You need to make a decision as to where you’re gonna man up and take on this responsibility.”

Today, he says all his kids have “full bellies, roofs over their heads, and access to any activity they want.”

A far cry from the unstable childhood he experienced himself.

And while he avoids sharing intimate details about his children in his books, Tyrus is vocal about the kind of father he strives to be.

“I always work hard to be the best dad I can be, but of course, I fail sometimes.

We all do.

But we try as hard as we can,” he wrote in Nuff Said.

Athletes, Equestrians, and Future Stars

Georgie might be the youngest, but she’s already making waves.

In 2024, she began serious training in horseback riding and took home first place in her debut competition.

A few weeks later, she nabbed second in a show jumping event in Vermont — which, according to Tyrus, “made her furious.

“She’s determined, detail-oriented, and strong.

So proud!” he gushed on Instagram.

She also plays soccer and — in true warrior spirit — finished a game in October 2024 despite breaking her radius mid-match.

The other kids are no slackers either.

Tyrus’ son (nicknamed Kakerot) plays travel baseball, while Rhett and Rock are often seen helping around the house and farm.

From Top Golf trips to spooky Halloween petting zoos, the Murdoch clan knows how to stay active — and together.

From Wrestling Champ to Farm Dad

In spring 2024, the Murdochs traded Louisiana heat for New Jersey farmland, moving to what Tyrus jokingly calls “Tyrus-zilla Zoo.”

Alongside their kids, the family now raises everything from turtles and snakes to lizards and chameleons.

Ingrid says Georgie is hands-on with bathing and caring for the animals, while Rhett handles the “dirty work,” and even Rhett’s girlfriend pitches in to clean tanks and cages.

This back-to-basics lifestyle was a major factor in Tyrus’ retirement from wrestling in 2023.

Though he was still “having fun and feeling great,” he couldn’t stomach missing another moment of his kids’ lives.

“I asked them if they wanted me at the shows or at the games,” he said.

“They looked me dead in the face and said, ‘We want you at the games.’

That was it for me.”

Supporting His Trans Child — “I’ll Be There, No Matter What”

In a surprising and heartfelt moment on Piers Morgan Uncensored in 2024, Tyrus revealed that one of his children is part of the LGBTQ community and is “trans.”

“As she’s growing and going through therapy, we’ll see where she’s at and what she wants to do,” he said.

“Whatever she wants at the end of the day… I’ll be there with her.

Or him.

Or they.

Whatever my child wants to be.”

It was a rare vulnerable moment from the tough-talking pundit, and one that showed a softer, more supportive side to the former fighter.

The Dad Who Shows Up

When asked what makes him proudest as a father, Tyrus told Sage Steele, “When my kids learn a lesson faster than I did.

Despite a tumultuous start to fatherhood, Tyrus is now focused on raising children who are smarter, more emotionally grounded, and more confident than he was at their age.

“They don’t get to see me every day, and I don’t get to see them every day,” he said.

“But the love between a father and his children? That’s always there.”

And if you ever doubted Tyrus had a soft spot, just watch the 2022 video where his son searched for his dad’s book Just Tyrus in a bookstore.

Tyrus’ eyes welled up with pride — not for the bestseller, but for the boy who went looking.
