George Clooney and Brad Pitt Reunite for Hilarious Jimmy Kimmel Skit: Assassins, Matt Damon Jokes, and French Onion Soup

George Clooney and Brad Pitt reunited on Jimmy Kimmel Live for a laugh-out-loud skit that had fans in stitches.

The two Hollywood megastars, famous for their roles in the Ocean’s Eleven franchise, once again showed their comedic chemistry as they portrayed assassins in a hilarious, action-packed spoof.

George Clooney was spotted leaving the studio after reuniting with Brad Pitt for a Jimmy Kimmel Live skit where they poke fun at Matt Damon and even threaten to assassinate him

In the Tuesday night segment, which has since gone viral on YouTube, the dynamic duo sat at a dimly lit table in an office, embodying gritty criminals.

Clooney, 63, played it cool in a black T-shirt, fiddling with a casino token, while Pitt, 60, sported a matching black outfit and stared ominously into the distance.

In the clip which Jimmy, 56, shared on YouTube , the Gravity star, 63, sits next to Brad, 60,and the duo offer to carry out a 'hit' on their fellow actor for a shadowy figure

The Plot: Assassins with a Twist

The scene took a funny turn when a shadowy figure, dressed in a long coat and carrying a briefcase, entered the room.

Clooney and Pitt remained stoic as the mysterious man slid the briefcase onto the table.

“Did you bring the money?” Pitt’s character asked, in his signature gravelly voice.

The shadowy figure then reveals himself to be Jimmy Kimmel himself who says: 'I need you to make sure he...buys the zoo, if you know what I mean?', in a reference to Matt's comedy We Bought a Zoo

But the twist came when the figure revealed himself to be none other than Jimmy Kimmel.

Kimmel, with a playful grin, asked the pair to take care of a “hit” on an actor—Matt Damon—but not in the usual sense.

Instead, Kimmel humorously referenced Damon’s 2011 comedy We Bought a Zoo, requesting the assassins ensure that “Matt buys the zoo, if you know what I mean.”

A Hilarious Plot to ‘Take Out’ Matt Damon

As Kimmel placed stacks of money in front of them, Clooney and Pitt exchanged looks.

Clooney, ever the tough guy, promised, “We trust you,” while Pitt nonchalantly glanced into the briefcase before declaring, “You go home.”

The exchange escalated when Clooney’s character coldly advised the man, “You go home, you have a nice dinner, you kiss your wife, and let us take care of it.”

Upon learning that the “target” was Matt Damon, both Clooney and Pitt broke into laughter.

Clooney cheekily quipped, “We’ll do it for free,” as they closed the briefcase, ready to take on the odd assignment.

After revealing the target as Matt, Brad shakes his head, closes the briefcase and tells Jimmy they'll do this 'hit' for free

The situation grew even funnier when Kimmel, in character, responded with concern for Matt’s “adoring fans,” prompting the trio to burst into fits of laughter.

As Kimmel left the room, he ominously warned, “You won’t regret this,” leaving Clooney and Pitt to discuss the peculiar “French onion soup” scent lingering in the air.

Promoting Their Latest Film, Wolfs

The comedic skit came on the heels of the two stars promoting their latest project, Wolfs, a high-budget Apple TV+ film set to debut in cinemas on September 20.

The $200 million film features Clooney and Pitt as “criminal cleanup specialists” who must team up to cover up a messy situation.

The film marks their first major collaboration since the Ocean’s Eleven series and is generating major buzz, though early reviews have been mixed.

Despite the film’s massive budget and the stars’ $35 million paychecks, critics have been vocal about their opinions.

Some, like IGN’s Siddhant Adlakha, have derided the film as “slick student fare,” while others, such as The Guardian’s Xan Brooks, have poked fun at director Jon Watts’ ambitious yet chaotic execution.
