And while some might find such a list helpful, Dreyer wasn’t afraid to poke fun at herself.

“You know how much I love my lists! How much fun would it be to have me as your daughter-in-law??” she captioned the post.

“I think I’m being helpful! Sound off: helpful or impossibly annoying???”

The post quickly sparked a lively debate in the comments, with fans weighing in on whether Dreyer’s approach was the ultimate act of preparation or, well, maybe just a tad overboard.

Prioritizing Family Over Everything

Dreyer, who shares her three sons with husband Brian Fichera, has long been vocal about the importance of family time.

Back in January 2022, she made the emotional decision to step away from her role on the weekend edition of Today to spend more quality time at home.

“These boys are my whole life, and Brian and I, we love being a team on weekends and spending as much time as we can with them,” she shared at the time.

“That’s really all I’m going to be doing—just sitting at home and loving up on those three. “

She added, “This job can get crazy, especially when we’re traveling and we’re busy, but it’s so important to make time for family, too. “

A Mom Who Goes All Out

Dreyer’s commitment to motherhood doesn’t just stop at detailed schedules.

In December 2024, the family celebrated Calvin’s 8th birthday in true Dreyer fashion—with a homemade, multi-layered cake featuring the Boston Bruins logo and a fun-filled day of ice skating.

“How are you 8????” she wrote in a heartfelt Instagram post.

“I remember the day you were born… I never thought I’d be a good mom.

 Now I’m making homemade layer cakes with the Bruins logo and ice skating with 3 boys. “

She continued, “It’s what Cal wanted, and I will give these boys the world.

 Happy birthday, buddy!!!”

With her signature blend of humor, organization, and all-out love for her family, Dreyer continues to prove that she’s got this mom thing down.
