Ann Coulter’s Savage Takedown: “Joy Reid’s Career Was a Joke—And I Have the Receipts!”

Disgraced MSNBC host Joy Reid just got torched by conservative firebrand Ann Coulter, who dug up an old clip to remind the world just how clueless the ousted anchor has always been.

Coulter’s brutal takedown went viral after she mocked Reid’s stunned reaction to a 2015 prediction that turned out to be 100% correct.

Conservative pundit Ann Coulter (pictured) issued a brutal takedown of fired MSNBC host Joy Reid by using the ousted anchor's own reaction against her. Coulter shared a video from Real Time with Bill Maher's Overtime circa June 2015, in which both she and the 56-year-old former host of The ReidOut appeared on a panel.

Ann Coulter Proves Joy Reid’s Career Was a Fraud

Coulter, 62, took to social media Monday to expose Reid’s ignorance, sharing a resurfaced clip from Real Time with Bill Maher in 2015.

In the video, Maher asked the panel which Republican candidate had the best shot at winning the general election. Without hesitation, Coulter confidently named Donald Trump.

The response? Gasps. Laughter. And most notably, Joy Reid sitting there, blinking like a deer in headlights, mouth hanging open in disbelief.

Maher asked the panelists in the clip which Republican candidate he thought had the best chance of winning the general election, to which Coulter replied: 'Of the declared ones, right now, Donald Trump.' The prediction shocked audience members, and when the camera panned to Reid, she could be seen blinking twice with her mouth agape at the notion.

“Now that Joy Reid is looking for a new job, I should hire her to follow me around every moment, night and day, to react with open-mouthed, saucer-eyed astonishment at every prediction I make, which of course will then come true,” Coulter quipped.

Reid broke down as she explained that she's not sorry for having gone 'hard on so many' progressive issues like Black Lives Matter or immigrant rights on her primetime slot. 'Whether it¿s talking about any of these issues and, yes, whether it¿s talking about Gaza and the fact that we as the American people have a right to object, to have a right to object to little babies being bombed,' Reid went on. 'And and where I come down on that is I¿m not sorry. I am not sorry that I stood up for those those things because those things are of God.'

MSNBC Purges Its Most Extreme Leftists

Reid’s abrupt termination was no surprise to anyone paying attention.

Her far-left, race-obsessed rants had become an embarrassment to MSNBC, a network now scrambling to reinvent itself in Trump’s second term.

Leaked reports confirm that Reid’s show, The ReidOut, was cut due to abysmal ratings and MSNBC’s desperate attempt to sound less like a DNC propaganda machine.

In a sweeping shake-up, MSNBC bosses also axed other struggling hosts like Katie Phang, Jonathan Capehart, and Ayman Mohyeldin. Even longtime NBC icon Lester Holt wasn’t spared, as the network races to stop the bleeding.

'Now that Joy Reid is looking for a new job, I should hire her to follow me around every moment, night and day, to react with open-mouthed, saucer-eyed astonishment at every prediction I make, which of course will then come true,' Coulter wrote on Monday. Reid's show was canceled amid tanking ratings - a decision leaked early Sunday and confirmed by her bosses just hours later. Network executives said the cancelation was part of a larger effort to restructure its programming.

“MSNBC’s new president, Rebecca Kutler, swears this has nothing to do with Trump.

But let’s be real—it’s ALL about Trump,” an insider told Status News.

“They know Joy Reid made the network look like an unhinged, leftist echo chamber.”

Joy Reid Melts Down: “I Am Not Sorry!”

After the hammer dropped, Reid broke down in tears during a call with the activist group Win With Black Women. In an emotional rant, she declared she had no regrets about her divisive rhetoric:

“I’m not sorry! I am not sorry that I stood up for these things because these things are of God!”

Reid's 7 p.m. ET time slot will now be replaced by a panel show co-hosted by Symone Sanders Townsend, Alicia Menendez and Michael Steele. Katie Phang, Jonathan Capehart and Ayman Mohyeldin have also reportedly been given the boot from their current timeslots, the New York Post reported. Fellow NBCU asset NBC News further confirmed Monday that Lester Holt was also leaving his iconic Nightly News gig.

Even as her show sank like the Titanic, Reid doubled down on her most radical takes, including defending Black Lives Matter riots, pushing anti-Israel conspiracy theories, and insisting that Trump supporters were no different from ISIS extremists.

In 2018, anti-gay remarks were found on her old blog from posts in 2006, which she blamed on hackers at the time. Other 2006 blog posts then came to light, including one that stated 'current iterations of Islam are largely incompatible with Western notions of free speech and expression, and thus, I'd say, with the Bushian dream of Western style democracy for all.' In 2020 she angered many by comparing radicalized supporters of President Trump to ¿the way Muslims act' - causing Trump to call for her firing.

A Career Built on Lies and Scandals

Reid’s career has been one disaster after another:

2006-2009: Wrote homophobic blog posts mocking Florida Gov. Charlie Crist.

2018: Claimed her anti-gay remarks were the work of hackers—an excuse so pathetic, even left-wing media didn’t buy it.

2020: Enraged viewers by saying Trump supporters were like radical Muslims—leading Trump to demand her firing.

2024: After Trump’s assassination attempt, Reid spread conspiracy theories that he was never actually shot.

New MSNBC president Rebecca Kutler (pictured) insisted to members of the ReidOut staff on Sunday that President Donald Trump's second term was not a factor in the network's decision to cancel the show. She instead claimed the network's changes were made based on 'data analysis and programming strategy' that she believes will 'best position MNSBC for the year ahead.' But Status News reported that Reid's constant progressive, anti-Trump rants unsettled MSNBC bosses who are seeking to foster a less biased-sounding liberal news network during the second Trump administration.

MSNBC’s New Era: Will It Work?

MSNBC’s new strategy appears to be watering down its radical image while still pushing progressive narratives.

Instead of giving Reid’s timeslot to a strong individual voice, the network is opting for a panel show with hosts like Symone Sanders Townsend, Alicia Menendez, and Michael Steele.

Meanwhile, sources say Comcast executive Mark Lazarus is determined to “make MSNBC palatable” to conservatives—meaning the network will still be left-wing, just less obviously insane.

Her commitment to promoting ultra progressive causes 'offered an easy target to attack MSNBC¿s editorial stances' as the network tries to overhaul its programming and recover from bad ratings, Status reported. Comcast executive Mark Lazarus is said to want to change the perception that 'Republicans cannot get a fair shake from the network' by moving to a more 'palatable progressivism.' Meanwhile, the writing was reportedly on the wall for Reid as early as last year, when her five year contract with MSNBC ended and she was only offered a one year extension. Her three decade broadcasting career has been marred by multiple controversies - with her downfall sparked in 2017 when homophobic posts she had penned about ex Florida governor Charlie Crist from 2007 to 2009, emerged.

Will Joy Reid Go Down Swinging?

Reid isn’t going quietly. Insiders claim she’s ready to expose MSNBC’s inner workings in a tell-all interview or book.

But will she actually deliver the goods, or will this be just another Joy Reid self-victimization tour?

Either way, one thing is clear: Ann Coulter was right. Again.
