Priscilla Presley – the ex-wife of music legend Elvis Presley – earned $900,000 a year from Elvis Presley Enterprises despite having no stake in the company, according to a lawsuit.

Priscilla and Elvis Presley’s daughter, Lisa Marie Presley, sued former business executive Barry Siegel in 2018 for “negligently” mishandling her money, noting in the lawsuit that Siegel “allowed” (in effect, lobbied) her mother to receive income from the company.

Lisa’s lawyers added that Priscilla was paid “even though Lisa’s mother had no ownership interest in Elvis Presley Enterprises (EPE). Nor did she perform any type of executive-level work to justify the salary.”

“Siegel did not disclose these facts to Lisa nor did he negotiate a similar salary for Lisa,” the complaint, obtained by Page Six , said.

Siegel denied Lisa’s claims in the lawsuit against him. The case dragged on for another two years before being settled out of court. However, the lawsuit did not go in Priscilla’s favor.

In its conclusion, the lawsuit claims that Priscilla is not a “co-trustee” of the Lisa Marie Foundation while singer Lisa’s two children, Riley and Benjamin Keough, are listed as “adult children of the beneficiary” and will benefit upon her death.

Priscilla filed a lawsuit to invalidate a 2016 amendment to Lisa Marie’s agreement, claiming it was fraudulent due to suspicious signatures and a misspelling of Lisa’s name.

It is unclear why Priscilla needed to manage Lisa Marie’s assets when Lisa’s daughter Riley was 33 and capable of making her own financial decisions. Benjamin committed suicide in 2020.

A source close to Lisa Marie (who died at age 54 on January 12, 2023) previously told Page Six that Priscilla was nothing more than “out for the money,” while Priscilla insisted she was just trying to protect her family.

A rep for Priscilla did not immediately respond to Page Six ‘s request for comment .

Lisa’s 14-year-old twin daughters Finley and Harper are also now believed to be beneficiaries of the Graceland estate, Elvis’ Memphis home.

“Today would have been Lisa’s 55th birthday. My wish is to protect my three grandchildren and keep our family together,” Priscilla told reporters on February 1.

“From the first moment I held Lisa in my arms, I protected, loved, guided her… Our hearts are broken and I am having to learn to live without my only daughter,” the ex-wife of the late “King of Rock and Roll” Elvis Presley confided.
