Candace Owens Unleashes Fiery Critique of Whoopi Goldberg: “You’re Promoting Toxic Lies”
In a recent explosive debate, conservative commentator Candace Owens fiercely criticized Whoopi Goldberg, the co-host of ABC’s daytime talk show “The View,” challenging Goldberg’s views on abortion, gender identity, and cultural issues.
Owens did not hold back, labeling Goldberg and her fellow co-hosts as contributors to what she describes as “toxic lies” that permeate modern culture.
Owens targeted Goldberg following controversial remarks on abortion. Goldberg passionately argued that men, lacking the ability to become pregnant, have no right to dictate women’s reproductive choices.
“Do any of you men have any eggs or the possibility of carrying a fetus?” Goldberg questioned emphatically, “How dare you talk about what a fetus wants.”
Owens immediately countered, emphasizing what she saw as hypocrisy. “I’d love to see the same energy from Whoopi when it comes to biological men dressing up as women and claiming they can get pregnant,” Owens remarked sharply.
She went on to reference Goldberg’s involvement with the transgender advocacy community, specifically highlighting Goldberg’s 2017 GLAAD Media Award for producing the transgender modeling show, “Strut.”
“Here we are in the middle of a vicious culture war,” Owens said, “with men playing dress-up, claiming they can give birth and chest-feed. Whoopi is so fired up about abortion that she accidentally told the truth—only women can give birth.”
Owens argues that this accidental admission by Goldberg underscores a fundamental contradiction within progressive arguments surrounding gender identity and biology.
“Even a broken clock is right twice a day,” Owens quipped, “thanks Whoopi, for proving even people pushing nonsense understand basic biology deep down.”
Turning her focus onto co-host Joy Behar, Owens sharply criticized Behar’s assertion that religious conservatives are disconnected from reality regarding sex and pregnancy.
Behar suggested conservative viewpoints ignore the reality of sexual activity and its consequences, implying a naiveté about pregnancy. Owens responded, “Far from misunderstanding sex, religious conservatives fully grasp its consequences: children and life.”
Owens expanded further, criticizing Behar and popular media’s promotion of casual sexual relationships. She described modern culture as “sick,” contributing to increased promiscuity, unplanned pregnancies, and a subsequent reliance on abortion as a solution.
“Maybe what we on the right understand is sexually transmitted insanity,” Owens stated pointedly. She argued passionately against what she perceives as the irresponsible encouragement of sexual freedom without acknowledging the emotional and life-altering consequences for young women.
Central to Owens’ argument was the damaging impact she claims modern cultural narratives have on the family unit. Owens highlighted recent statistics indicating that only 18% of American households today represent a traditional nuclear family, a significant societal shift.
“Father absence is one of the biggest epidemics in this country,” she warned, asserting that the current feminist narrative of “my body, my choice” dangerously absolves men of responsibility.
Owens contended that the concept of “my body, my choice” has inadvertently excused men from stepping into roles as responsible fathers. “How can a baby be 100% a woman’s responsibility while inside the womb,” Owens questioned, “but the moment it’s born, it suddenly requires a 50/50 parental split?”
She illustrated her point with a hypothetical scenario, challenging listeners to consider a man at a child support hearing claiming no responsibility due to the pregnancy being “her body, her choice.” Owens emphasized the absurdity of such an argument, underscoring her stance that accountability for life begins at conception, equally involving both parents.
Owens further accused Goldberg, Behar, and similar figures of perpetuating harmful stereotypes about marriage and family in mainstream media. “Pop culture wants weak families because strong families are harder to break, harder to manipulate,” Owens argued.
She lamented the common portrayal of fathers as incompetent and mothers as solely empowered, reinforcing divisive gender dynamics rather than fostering cooperative, stable family relationships.
Throughout the segment, Owens maintained her stance that the abortion debate transcends mere politics, becoming a foundational issue about truth, responsibility, and the future of American society.
“Society has become so dehumanized that we’re debating killing babies,” Owens asserted forcefully. “It’s time we acknowledged that every abortion ends a life—period.”
The explosive exchange between Owens and Goldberg highlights the intensifying cultural divide over issues of reproductive rights, gender identity, and family values. Owens’ commentary has resonated widely, sparking vigorous discussions across social media platforms about the broader implications of these contentious issues.
As these debates continue to unfold, Owens remains unapologetic in confronting what she views as dangerous cultural narratives. Her bold critique of “The View” and its hosts underscores the deepening divide in American discourse, making clear that these cultural battles are far from resolved.
